The class saw heavy action during the Jedi Civil War severing both the Republic and Sith forces with brutal effect. While few of these massive ships survived the war, some examples have found themselves in the hands of collectors, cults and militias.

The Aberfan class of cruisers were designed for Searadias coastal defence squadrons,and for their scouting squadrons. After beating down an attack from a group of greedy pirates. The crew decide to get ready to make chase. Practice is in order to make sure that this time those dogs wont get away.
I was inspired to do this peice after watching Master and Commander, and playing Return to the Obradin.
The goal of the peice was to practice some hand painted peices.

It’s almost a year ago that I uploaded my first ship model, the IJN Fubuki, so I decided to make one of her more advanced sister ships: The IJN Ayanami.
The Ayanami was build for the Imperial Japanese Navy and when introduced into service she was one of the most powerful destroyer in the world.
She sustained critical damage after being shelled by the USS Washington during the second phase of the Battle of Guadalcanal (15 November 1942) and was later scuttled by IJN Uranami.
