After beating down an attack from a group of greedy pirates. The crew decide to get ready to make chase. Practice is in order to make sure that this time those dogs wont get away. I was inspired to do this peice after watching Master and Commander, and playing Return to the Obradin. The goal of the peice was to practice some hand painted peices. The model was originally meant to be low poly, but i decided to try and go with a bit more detail in certain areas just to try and make it look a bit nicer (most of the polys come from the rigging) 3D Model is ready to download for free

Hello people, I have built a battleship/carrier here that comes from my own imagination but also borrows ideas from ships from the Stargate universe. It is completely rigged.
It has 8 heavy cannons and 14 medium cannons (all medium cannons have a tracker for easier use of the rig, as well as a collection tracker for 5 cannons on each site so that they can be used synchronously to track a target), plus a heavy rocket launcher.
It has 4 main engines for sub-light speeds. in the lower middle an auxiliary engine. The bridge is in the upper rear part. Shortly behind it is the reactor and next to it the 8 shield generators. The hyperdrive is connected directly to the reactor. On the bottom it has 4 gravitational jets for hovering.
The ship also has 4 hangar bays (which can each be opened and closed individually).
I also included a function test animation to demonstrate the rig.
