The Chinese Pavilion is still a landmark today. Originally entry to it was by a bridge from an adjoining tower. The interior was furnished in a Chinese style and complemented with a glass bell and Chinese porcelain figures. Aviaries were built near the pavilion. The present form of the structure is the result of alterations carried out in the 19th century.
