Cooperation with our friends at G-3D-PrintThe front cover of the jetski was scanned using Artec Leo in 15 minutes (including chalc sraying, markers, etc.) and the post-process workflow took about 60 minutes in Artec Studio. The jetski belongs to the world champion György Kasza and his team. The purpose of the scan is to make a perfect fit bespoke fabricated composite cover, therefore some reverse engineering was necessary to get a native CAD data (step) to be able to machine the mold for the composite. For this, weve sed Quicksurface’s Autosurface option to get the nurbs surface based on the HQ mesh. This ancient and traditional bell is located inside premises of “Jesthavarna Mahvihar” in Kathmandu. Mahavihar are monasteries that are usually two stories tall, very much important to cultural community called “newar” who are Kathmandu’s historical inhabitants.
It is said that by ringing the bell, the devotee informs the deity of his arrival. This bell is beautifully carved and stands together with Buddha and other statues at the top.
There are various inscription within the temple on various objects like roof, walls written N.S 589, NS 793, NS 833, NS 993, which is equal to 1469 AD, 1673 AD, 1713 AD and 1813 AD. No inscription written on the bell was found.
