Hello, this is my version of “Apylon, the Soul-Render" by Blizzard. I felt like this is such a cool sword, I wanted to give it a remake, and ended up making a sword quite different from Blizzards own style. For modelling I used. “3DS Max" (basemesh, retopo cleanup, and unwrap) & “ZBrush" for the highpoly. This is an environmental model created for a fantastical game on an alien planet. The base model was created with hard surface tools in Maya. Once I had a base to work from, I exported the model as an .obj file, so I could then import it into ZBrush. ZBrush allowed me to produce a higher quality sculpt. This high-res sculpt was then exported as such. I then used some tools specific to ZBrush to produce a low-poly model. However, this model was not game-ready as it had a higher amount of polys and didn’t fit into the poly budget allotted. Maya was the next stop. Time to re-topo.
Finally, I used the high-res model produced in ZBrush to project fine details into the normal map for the low-poly re-topo created in Maya. What you see here is a sub-divided view of the final result that had 4,700 polys 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 56928 polygons.

Hello,
this is reworked model of my old Mosin Nagant with PU Scope (my original model can be found on the Nexus as a mod for Fallout:NV).
I made several changes, added some details (slings, changed the receiver from hex to round, I still think that the hexagonal receiver looks better, but there were no hexagonal PU snipers. I actually made PE scope, so I might do hex PE sniper one day), which increased the polycount by more than 50%, but it is still more than reasonable. And of course this one is PBR.
Main Gun has 2048px texture, scope has 1024px texture.
