Here’s the result of a project i’ve been working on over the last few months. the model is a re-interpretation of an imperial knight gallant from warhammer 40k. the main model was modelled and rigged in blender and textured in substance painter. The base was made using destruction simulations in Houndini out of a mesh made in blender.

UPDATE: the file is finally available for purchase! STL and 3D print-ready files are included with an option for small printers. please notify me if you have any issues with the files, i will be updating those with your feedback / if it doesnt work as well on specific printers. Feel free to contact me for commissions on similar projects, i can easily swap out the logos and customise this model so it fits your faction better ^^

A motorcycle of the Warhammer 40k Universe. This one is painted with the colors and emblems of the “White Scars” Space Marine Chapter. The White Scars are known for their “need for speed”, and were one of the legions that was defending the Imperial Capital in the siege of Terra during the Horus Heresy.
Since it’s based on a toy model, it didn’t have much details on some parts… So i look for some references and modeled some things “a bit” different: the tires, the steering handles, the dashboard, the seat and an actual motorcycle engine (with some modifications to fit it into the model dimentions, nothing too fancy though).
As everyone should know by now, the space marines, white scars, warhammer 40k universe images and emblems are the property of Games Workshop.
I was thinking of modeling also a Space Marine to pilot the thing but that is another work (i’m doing it right now).

3d model i’ve been working on for a few months now. the base design comes from the universe Warhammer 40k, i decided to make it a space wolf dreadnought with the old paint style of light gray/red instead of the blue/yellow one we mainly see, it’s also part of the iron wolves Great Company. modelled with blender and textured with substance painter, i practiced a lot on using hardened normals in my workflow, most edges of the mesh are using this to help smooth the shape. the model is rigged and has a material with 1 set of 4k PBR textures, the base with rocks and dirt is a speparate mesh with it’s own material of 2k PBR baked textures. included with the .FBX and textures will be a .zip file with a blender database fully set up and ready to render 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 122543 polygons.
