Here are small assets of vintage books and wood bookshelves for my personal project. Given that the main character of the scene is not the typical little girl I thought it would be interesting to give her a wide variety of books that fit her personality. For the bookshelves I made two different finishes for the wood material. I am leaning more to the painted wood since it should give good contrast against the wall and also fits with the beach decor. Let me know which you prefer. Modeling, layout, and Texturing of a late medieval queen’s room.
From inspiration my wife drew, I wanted to take a sketch she did and build it in 3d.
I’ve always been drawn to environment and prop modeling and sculpting, so this was a great learning process. I cycled through modeling about 5 or 6 different tables before I finally settled on the ones seen here.
