A long time ago I posted a small living room scene, I recently re-visited some of those assets and updated the scene. In tribute to my friend I have included his sound cloud link to his art, Vermella. This is his DJ name and I designed a logo for his DJ set. This has been collecting dust in my WIP folder since October I think? But I added some finishing touches this week so now I decided that it’s done lol. I wanted to continue to practice making toony looking 3D art, this time in an anime style!

This work was my contribution to retrogasm 2019, well is not on time as you can see but at least is finished, the idea was to recreate a videogame character , I picked captain commando from the 90’s great arcade machine.
The high res model was done in Zbrush, retopo in 3dcoat, texture process in Substance Painter, rigged inside Maya with Advanced Skeleton and finally rendered inside marmoset and for the high res model keyshot (overwatch tribute), some final retouch inside Photoshop.
