The Grunwald Monument is an equestrian statue of King of Poland Władysław II Jagiełło (1352–1434) located at Matejko Square in Krakow’s Old Town and constructed in 1910 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald (1410). A 3d model based on a museum example of a sten like submachinegun in the Polish military museum in Warsaw, the submachinegun or “SMG” was made by Edward Sitek a member of the Polish resistance during the Nazi occupation of Poland in ww2 most likely by hand and out of scrap metal with minimal tools.
The design of the submachinegun is most likely based on the famous British Sten gun mixed with the Polish Mors smg, there is also from the looks of it some Russian ppsh 41 influence of the gun as the what could be a safety, fire selector or both look fairly similar to the ppsh 41s fire selector. The Mikrus MR300 design was developed in 1957 by a team of designers from the Transport Equipment Factories in Mielec and Rzeszów. The Mikrus had a monocoque body and independent suspension of each wheel. It was propelled by a two-cylinder, two-stroke Mi300 engine designed especially for this vehicle and placed at the rear. In terms of the solutions adopted, just like the Goggomobil, the Mikrus was a miniature version of a passenger car without the use of any motorcycle parts.
