So, I decided to take the traditional Chinese Spring Festival culture as the title and put on new clothes for our meetmat2. All texture making, including rendering, is done by me independently in substance painter, and some alpha is processed through PS. Red and gold are auspicious symbols in China. The mouse pattern on the clothes represents the year of the rat this year. The traditional characters on the head mean to recruit money and treasure. The pocket is called “Li Shi”. In the Spring Festival, we will all receive “Lishi” from our elders, which contains some money, which is also a good blessing. I refer to the image of Chinese drum for the head making style. Because in some areas, drumming is also a blessing form of Spring Festival. I have completed this personal project on April 2021 with total 57 Renders.
I have model this shoe in Autodesk Maya, it’s a concept design of original Nike air jordan 1 Low, I have used displacement map for sole pattern created in substance painter.
I have used Luxion Keyshot for render, the Nike light on the background with smoke created in Adobe Photoshop.

My first tryout with my new camera (Sony a6500), paired with a Sigma 30mm C lens.
These shoes are relatively ooold :), but they’re special. At that time i was ‘fan’ of the Adidas Goodyear shoes because of the sleek and slim design and their undestructibility. Then Adidas started collaborating with Porsche and came with these (as their first i think?). Now they make for awesome looking worn out shoes.
Took around 300 photos, processed at maximum resolution in Agisoft. PBR materials created in Substance painter. Remeshing done with Instant Meshes.
