Hello everyone, I am pleased to introduce you Next Gen AI Robot, my participation in the MeetMat2 contest. This is an original concept inspired by different universes I like, both fantastic and futuristic. It resonates with our continually evolving society.

For my submission, I present MAT COP 21. COP 21 is inspired by the fictional character Eva from the pixar movie Wall-E. My artistic take on the challenge was to present a visual representation of the effects of climate change. Similar to the message conveyed in Wall-E my model expresses the juxtaposition of despair and hope for a ecologically sound future. The damage on the model symbolizes the negative impact on Earth but still holds hope in the form of the pod accepting the plant. I focused in on subtle details that are symbolic for these current issues such as: dented & bent metal, the burning lines ( Earth’s rising core temperatures), the cracked glass (depletion of the Ozone Layer) and, the black malice at the figure’s base (oil spills in our bodies of water). I chose to name my model in reference to the climate change conference that recently took place in Paris, in support of the green initivate 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 56424 polygons.

As the story goes, Samson fought and defeated a young lion, later finding bees and honey in its body.

I missed the Meet Mat 1 contest and I’m very happy to join this Meet Mat 2 Contest.
The new Substance Painter is awesome with the tessellation feature, so I can play with the heigh channel very flexible. I also give myself an additional small challenge: I won’t use anything outside the Substance standard shelf but 1 custom color profile (for rendering later).
My idea is that MAT is an Space traveler who will “jump” through Space to explore the universe. Unfortunately, some planets are very dangerous so he lost 1 arm and leg. But now his new arm is strong enough to help him go further and safer.
The device on his right arm is used for selecting the destination to travel, and of course MAT can check the time with it :).
