This monument, carved around AD 1050 to 1100, is a memorial to a father and son who were Scandinavian mercenaries in the service of the Byzantine emperor in Greece. ~https://www.ashmolean.org/reading-and-writing-gallery Online collection record: https://collections.ashmolean.org/collection/search/per_page/25/offset/0/sort_by/relevance/object/24539 - Monumental Rune Stone #RealityScan - 3D model by Thomas Flynn (@nebulousflynn) 3D Model is ready to download for free

This is a church built somewhere around year 1100. The building material is sand stone and wood. The church has been built on top of 1,5 meters of previous “cultural building remains”
Through annual ring dating on wooden beams over the nave, it has been found that these trees were felled in 1136. The church is built in Romanesque style with the tower to the west.
(Notation 1 on the model) An inscription engraved above the entrance on the west side states that “Othelrik me fecit”, which means: Othelric has made me. This architect and stonemason is believed to have come from northern Germany and was one of the foremost of the 12th century in Västgötland.

Scoutgården (the Scouts´ house) was originally built as a combined copper-smith’s workshop at the ground floor and an apartment in the upper floor. It is one of the youngest examples of wooden buildings in the project, and dates from the first half of the 19th century. It also represents a certain building technique, with long and slender timbers with discrete traits from a new building procedure around 1800. http://arkeologerna.com/bloggar/hus-och-manniskor/

King Gustav Vasas Helmet with a Gilt Crown 3D Model.
Download King Gustav Vasas Helmet with a Gilt Crown in various files formats such as Wavefront Object format, Autodesk FBX, DirectX 9.0, Stereo Lithography and HTML5 JSON format.
The helmet was fashioned in southern Germany circa 1540, and is unusual because it is one of the few surviving helmets adorned with a crown.
It was purchased in Augsburg on the King’s behalf by his agent, the merchant Claus Heijder. The helmet was likely used in Gustav Vasa’s funeral procession in 1560, because a helmet adorned with a gilded crown is mentioned by a contemporary who witnessed the ceremony. The gilded crown is medieval in style – a suitable symbol of Gustav Vasa, who had one foot in the old union and one in the newly minted hereditary monarchy 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 1000000 polygons.

In the eastern part of the mansion to the left there is a guest room, the blue bedchamber, furnished and decorated in Gustavian style. The wall covering, an oil-painted tapestry from the 1790s, is a simplified variant of the wallpaper in the atrium on the other side of the hall. The bed with Sina hangings of mosquito nets, the dressing table covered with white cotton cloth, the veneered desk and the seating furniture signed by Stockholm chairmaker Erik Ohrmark are all good representatives of the Gustavian style. Per Hilleström’s oil painting, dated 1775, gives an idea of how the ladies of the time were dressed. The blade-decorated tile stove originates from a Stockholm house.
