I wore this trusty glove everywhere I went for the past few months, be it in my garden, pulling and seeding new plants, or at the supermarket, when shopping for supplies.
The fabric is breathy and confortable to the touch, partially coated with a waterproof rubber coating. It may indeed allow me to handle objects more confidently, yet its greatest merit is keeping viruses away :)
Overall, I’m very happy with it, and, for what it’s worth… more than just OK!

This is a model of a thermometer taken on 10 August 2021. It was 26 degrees when we photoscanned this office thermometer.
This is a comparison between three kinds of thermometers that we made.
With the use of Photoshop masks, we were able to get a fantastic result. There were a few small detail losses in the metal and glass parts of the thermometer. We remodeled the missing parts in Blender. With the model being in Blender, we baked all sorts of PBR textures. We baked the diffuse, AO, roughness, glossiness, opacity, and normal maps. The remodeled thermometer was sent back to Agisoft for retexturing.

Did a scan of one of our company shirts for a quick project. This is the first time I’ve combined two sides of a soft-body scan - cloth tends to be somewhat floppy. To flip the shirt without messing up the fold pattern, I made a sort of cardboard sandwich I could press together. I also overexposed the shots to improve the scan.
The cleanup wasn’t too bad. Even after deleting points from the platforms from the dense cloud they still made their way into the mesh a little. Ended up taking those out in Max, then smoothing things over in ZBrush. I also used ZBrush for the decimation and unwrap, and was really happy about the results. I like Max’s peel feature, but UV Master in ZBrush goes so much faster and gets rid of all the overlaps even if the result is bent a little.
I also still need to find a faster way to patch up seams. There was one towards the “south” side of the shirt that I had to a 2nd channel unwrap -> bake -> photoshop -> bake to ch1 -> mask into texture approach.
