Hi! So this is a model based on a concept art I found in Pinterest, which is this one: The original art is made by Peet Cooper. As I saw I thought “this would be nice to be turned into a 3D model. So I started working on it. The funny thing is that as I finished modeling it, I realized that MANY other people had done that before. Many high poly versions of that conceptwere linked to the pincture, but I hadn't seen them before. Anyway I decided to finish it as I really lik the style. So I really hope you guys like it even if you knew some of the other 3D models based on this concept. I really enjoyed the process and learn some things. In this guitar challenge I present this gibson paint.
It makes me nostalgic, the musical instruments, there was a time in my life where I did a lot of music.
To project mu passion I have done a stylized hell style painting.
The work of uvs was additional, for this use blender and manually cut each piece, then rectification of angular and area distortions. For the puzzle use uvpackmaster, separating in 3 materials with 70% coverage of the islands on the texture set, and an optimal texture resolution for real time, prepared for a 4k and two 2k map.
