It was one of the largest horned dinosaurs and could reach a weight up to 10 tons. Its skull alone could grow over 2 meters in length! The name Triceratops is derived from the Greek words trí- (τρί-) meaning ‘three', kéras (κέρας) meaning ‘horn', and ṓps (ὤψ) meaning ‘face'. This cast of the Triceratops horridus skull can be found in Hall 10 of the NHM Vienna next to the T. rex skull.
