October Sculpting Challenge 2022 ❗NOT RIGGED, VERY ROUGH MAXIMO RIG PRESENT PLANNING ON RIGGING IN THE FUTURE PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING❗️ Decided to attempt a more detailed sculpt for this month, particularly focusing on wrinkles and organic detailing. Originally was planning on practicing simple hard surface techniques by creating a deer's skull, but decided to take it further and create the famous Native American cryptid, the Wendigo. Also took the opportunity to learn how to better use and implement hair cards, although it does bump up the tri count a tad. So here is my first character almost fully sculpted on blender 2.81. It took me a few days to figure out how to represent Kaido on a 3d aspect. I took a basic draw of kaido and started sculpting with it in my background. The sculpting was done by mouse and I would say I worked on the model probably 10 hours in total.
The character has no scar on his body, let’s say this render is representing him before he got it :)
I was mainly focusing on making the best possible Kaido model using my skills, that’s why the background ( representing Onigashima, the residential island of Kaido ) looks this bad.
