The monument to the Ukrainian poet, writer, artist and thinker Taras Grigorievich Shevchenko is located in the center of Kharkov - in the Shevchenko Garden, at the entrance to the central alley from the side of Sumskaya Street. The total height of the monument is over 16 meters, the statue is 4.5 meters. The goal of the project is to obtain sufficient information for further modeling and study of all details. To solve this problem, we used an RTC360 laser scanner, a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone and a Canon EOS R camera. In the course of the work, laser scanning, photography from a quadrocopter and additional photos were carried out. The next stage was office processing. The second cycle was implemented using Leica Cyclone and Reality Capture programs, which were enclosed in data binding to a coordinate system. The next point was an automatic combination of aligned point clouds and photographs. The costume was made for a theatrical performance «Indecent is decent» (Ivanovo State Museum of Local History named after D.G. Burylin, October 30, 2019 – March 1, 2020). The 3D reconstruction was made by using historical block patterns, 2D scans of textile materials and 3d scans of contemporary actors. Anthroscan, Clo3D, SubstancePainter and Unreal Engine 4 software programs were used.

This model is a 1:1 replication of the original. All dimensions, angles, and curves are the same as the real life counterpart. The shoe is subdivision ready with a base polycount of 65,671 polys per shoe. The mesh uses four texture sets, all at 4096x4096 resolution, with the following maps in use: Base Color, Metallic, Roughness, Normal. The base color map contains the transparency information.
There is an optimized, One Mesh version which has a lower polycount, 33,440 polys per shoe. This was achieved by removing small stitches and smoothing out the sole of the shoe. Two images with turqoise backgrounds show what this looks like.
