This is an updated version of my fictional tank model, Legionnaire. This is the Mk. 1 version, and would date to around a 1984 introduction based on the technologies/features present in the design.
There are further versions that go up to Mk. 4, and include features of tanks from the wars/designs of the early 2000s, but those aren’t finalized yet. We have no idea if he’s from the past or if he just loves to dress this way. All we know about him is that he’s an extremely strong warrior.
A few minor changes had to be made to the concept because I wanted to create and animate this character as a game model, but it still looked to be quite similar to the original idea.
Modeled in Maya, sculpted and rendered in Blender and textured in Substance Painter.
