I took major inspiration from Kiriko(Overwatch) for this mask. A lot of parts on this mask are emissive, tried to make it look as cyberpunk as I could. the pink areas all have a carbon fibre texture because why not.
The Japanese characters on the mask is actually from Kirikos ultimate voice line “Unleash the kitsune’s claws”.
The ones on the kunai, I had no idea what to write but I found something that said “The weak are meat;The strong eat” it was kinda funny in a cool way so I used it.

Little Riko-chan was born into a traveling troupe of actors. Unfortunately, they fell on hard times after putting on a satirical play making untasteful references to the local Daimyo’s family tree. The politician was not pleased and ruined their reputation.
Rather than let the family go hungry, Riko-chan and her loyal cat, Neko-sama, took matters into their own hands. After raiding the prop and costume chest, they now scare the bejeezus out of wealthy travelers in the guise of an ogre and loot the belongings they inevitably leave behind.
This was my submission for the Feudal Japan Artstation Challenge. This was a fun idea to work on, but once again I felt like I lost a lot of time by not having picked a concept from the first stage of the challenge. Still, I’m fairly happy with the result, despite the constraints. A victorian era fruit plate from my victorian still life.
It was done in Blender, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and 3D Coat.
To create the engravings on the plate, I modeled and rendered the shapes in Blender as a height map and used them as a brush in sculpt mode with radial symmetry in Blender and as an alpha with radial symmetry in Substance Painter.
