Cooperation with our friends at G-3D-PrintThe front cover of the jetski was scanned using Artec Leo in 15 minutes (including chalc sraying, markers, etc.) and the post-process workflow took about 60 minutes in Artec Studio. The jetski belongs to the world champion György Kasza and his team. The purpose of the scan is to make a perfect fit bespoke fabricated composite cover, therefore some reverse engineering was necessary to get a native CAD data (step) to be able to machine the mold for the composite. For this, weve sed Quicksurface’s Autosurface option to get the nurbs surface based on the HQ mesh. A 14th century farmer using a heavy plough pulled by oxen.
I was approached by BuildersBrew to create a small diorama of a Medieval Farmer ploughing the fields, this was based off of some references provided and is to be used within the immersive mobile app for The Chester House Estate.
Conservation with the overall tricount, texture space and alpha usage in the project was important to make sure the model could load well in the application, the texture for the character was 4k for this render however this was reduced to 2k in the application and the overall tricount came in at around 70k for the whole project.
This was a short project taking around 3 weeks to produce, It was a good experience to see how fast i could get some good sculpts through zbrush as well as getting workable clothing through marvelous designer.
