A one-day project. I've had this idea for a mournful hand clasping a rose for a while, but it never felt complete. Adding the pendant and chain I felt really added the needed story to really bring the piece together. Hand model was from MakeHuman, all else I modelled in Blender. Textures were done in Substance Painter, then brought back into Blender 2.79 for rendering using the Principled BSDF for most surfaces, except the topaz crystal heart, which was done with my own custom absorption glass shader. I made this for the Artstation Untamed Challenge!
I chose not to include a stand for this one and instead just kept it alone. I also decided not to pose the back legs up in the air because it looked very odd without some spiderweb.
The final model ended up with 38,065 faces and 71,689 triangles.
I used two 4K maps, One for the upper body and the Pipe and the other one for the spider legs and butt.

For my week 10 CGMA Stylized Game Assets course assignment, I designed and created a cart asset inspired by Kena: Bridge of Spirits made by Ember Lab. I made the concept for the cart in Krita, then sculpted it in Zbrush, 3D modeled it in Blender, and textured it with Substance Painter. My aim was to make sure that the asset would fit in with the game’s environment and art style.
