A pebble or cobble size rock that couldve been broken off of a cliffside or found in a mining pit. Its a made to be a pretty small model, and only ment to be a filler in areas where small stones can be found. The Bottom is blurred due to high to low poly texture. Was created in Maya using a smoothed square and formed around a Photogrammetry Highpoly model. The texture was applied in Substance Painter, by taking the high poly and wrapping its texture around the lowpoly. Made for Homework at Waketech 3D Model is ready to download for free

For my submission, I present MAT COP 21. COP 21 is inspired by the fictional character Eva from the pixar movie Wall-E. My artistic take on the challenge was to present a visual representation of the effects of climate change. Similar to the message conveyed in Wall-E my model expresses the juxtaposition of despair and hope for a ecologically sound future. The damage on the model symbolizes the negative impact on Earth but still holds hope in the form of the pod accepting the plant. I focused in on subtle details that are symbolic for these current issues such as: dented & bent metal, the burning lines ( Earth’s rising core temperatures), the cracked glass (depletion of the Ozone Layer) and, the black malice at the figure’s base (oil spills in our bodies of water). I jumped into this challenge halfway through the challenge time which inspired me to make a joke about time. Lately if been inspired by scenes inside of objects like snowglobes for example.
