Hi everyone! :) This is my very first 3D Character, a Mongolian royal guard. Her name's Altantsetseg. Born in a nomad family, she learned quickly to use sabers thanks to his dad, who fought in numerous battles. At the age of 18, she entered to serve the Emperor, who created the first Royal Army from the Yuan Dynasty. Determined and intelligent, she's become the first woman to receive the title of Major of the Yuan's Royal Army. This project was probably one of the more complex models I’ve done. I first worked on the handle of the saber first since that’s where all the detail resides. Throughout the modeling process, I would always forget to model a certain component after laying out UVs and textures, so I will have to go back and model it in.
