According to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the governing body of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Cross of the Holy Sign holds a piece of the cross upon which Jesus Christ was crucified (Shakhkian, 2009:70). The relic was brought to Armenia by St. Hripsime in the late 3rd century AD, and since then has remained a symbol of protection for the Armenian people. This is a simple low-poly model of the interior of a library, which I made during my time studying 3D animation at UW-Whitewater. This set was originally supposed to be used in an edutainment game of sorts made with Unity, which would explain both the arrow and the low polygon count and the simple textures (we didn’t know how big this was going to be, so we started small). We were thinking of a MYST-like first person adventure game where the player would explore a library alone to search for clues and solve puzzles.
