The fort raises on the 37-metre high sea cliff outside the city walls. The people of Dubrovnik built the fort in order to protect the western sea access to the City, particularly from the Venetian fleet. The construction began in 1018 and was completed in the 16th century. The thickness of the walls facing the sea is between 4 and 12 metres. Above the entrance is an inscription in Latin language: NON BENE PRO TOTO LIBERTAS VENDITUR AURO (Freedom is not sold for all the gold of the world). The fort houses a chapel of St. Lawrence, and its courtyard with a cistern serves as a magical venue for theatrical performances. A large number of plays has been performed here within the Dubrovnik Summer Festival programme. It have really iconic look similar to FAMAS but its not super popular/used. As for model it self, its actually model that I made about 2 years ago, but I had to modify it a bit and create new textures due to previous project that it was part of. Its not super accurate but good enough, also I included two uppers for it… so its plus. Model is rigged, but there is also version with separated parts. Here is my most elaborate and intricate costume yet, a replica of a dress worn by Queen Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones (seasons 3-6). This red and gold brocard dress also features very fine and detailed embroideries figuring arabesques, birds and the powerful Lannister lion. I spent 400 hours in this work, with 350 only for the hand embroideries! (I used 20m of italian mesh, 250m of golden threads, about 1400 beads and rings…) The 3D model has been computed from 445 Nikon D5300 DSLR 24 MPx images, aligned in low quality, with medium depth maps and mesh (decimated to 850k polys, with localized smoothing up to 15), and one 4k texture (sorry for the loss of details on the embroideries…).
