This is a fire dragon concept. At first it was a concept of only the head, then I decided to make the body of a dragon. I did sculpting in ZBrush, texturing in the program Substance Painter. This little devil is another result of a notebook doodle. Its definitely a habit of mine to interrupt a profile with an architectural or angular structure, usually on the head. It always just seems nicely jarring.
I’m surprised its taken me this long to model a devil, as it is pretty much all I used to draw as a teenager having come across the gothic oddites of Jacques Callot, Abrecht Dürer and Hieronymous Bosch. And Doré, of course. His devils aren’t as pleasantly animalistic as the other guys’, but there’s something about the way that he congregates and arranges them in his prints that I haven’t seen done anywhere else. There’s something in the way Doré renders his demon wings that’s completely beyond description.

After a ton of work and time, finally, here she is. My 3D model of Lucy Kushinada, the captivating, elusive and beautiful netrunner from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series!
🌟 Highlights:
I hope I have managed to make a 3D model of Lucy that captures every detail of her cybernetic enhancements and futuristic attire with precision in this model. It really took a long time just to capture and research every detail that went into the character.
And now here we are, the model I worked on for so long is here in Sketchfab, on an interactive turntable that can view Lucy from every angle, allowing the intricacies of her character design to be seen and appreciated.
Being a fan of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and an aspiring artist looking for inspiration, Lucy from the show surely captivated my imagination and kept me going all the way until completion!
