It is a five-shot (plus one in the chamber) semi-automatic recoil-operated pistol firing the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. They came in two variations, blued with faux-wood grips and nickel-plated with faux-ivory grips. The pistol has been mainly forgotten except for its inclusion in the 1976 film “Taxi Driver" by Martin Scorsese. Robert De Niro's character, Travis Bickle, creates a quick-draw device that he uses during the shoot-out at the end of the film. Hello! It’s been awhile so I thought I’d create this little asset in my spare time (as i’m working on a lot of secret stuff for Rust).
I really enjoy making these types of weapons, they’re so unique and quirky - It was a perfect asset for my limited free time as my wife has recently had a baby. It took about 6 or 7 hours to create with slight deviations from the actual ref for my own personal preference.
