To solve this problem, we applied a complex solution - a combination of laser scanning and photogrammetric imaging. The work process is divided into 2 stages. • The first stage involved laser scanning with panoramic photography and taking photos of the object from the UAV. It took 16 scanning stations and 350 photos to create an informative cloud of facade points. Using the RTC360 laser scanner and the Phantom Advanced UAV, this stage was completed in 4 hours. • The second step was implemented by using Leica Cyclone and Capturing Reality software, which consisted of linking scan data in the local coordinate system. The next item was an automatic combination of an aligned cloud of dots and photos. He was passed around to other artists in the pipeline to make sure he fit to the Old version’s rig. My main job was to retopologize, texture and get his new body mesh into Unreal 3. I was, however, able to clean up the sculpt and finalize it for texture generation. Base-meshed in Max, Sculpted in Zbrush, Textured in Substance Painter 2 and Photoshop.
