And remembering that Bitcoin is the world’s first crypto coin, I made the texture seem old. Call it nostalgia, but I’ve always loved the look of the turtles from the original 1990 film. It blew me away that they took these relatively simple drawings, and brought to life these really realistic humanoid turtles. I remember losing my mind when I first saw them. When I started working on this by chance, there were these new turtle figures out that had captured quite a bit of the detail from the movie costumes so I used those as reference heavily. I built this model with high end game cinematics in mind, base model was around 83k before smoothed. He will eventually have a full working facial rig with mouth cavity....just getting lazy here towards the end on him..haha. The skin I ended up using one of the default new orc skin templates in painter and messed around with the layers in that with some of my own custom additions and I think it turned out fairly nice.
