A simple rework of my “Cartoon Kitten American Purrrman Tank” i felt not utilising the full potential of the model by only offering the bright pink pink texture option.
A small stylised piece i created while recovering from an illness, i set myself a time limit of 2.5 hours for the creation of this asset and due to this constraint there are some minor issues with the mesh and some edges that should hold more detail have suffered but overall i feel i captured the art style i was aiming for. My submission for a past Sketchwars theme: redo a classic…
My thought is that something went astray with the Thunderbird between 1963 and 1967. My 3D sketch is a proposal for a different aesthetic bridge between the lovely 1963 body style and the somewhat radical departure of 1967. This took 4 hours to do, completely done in 3D while immersed in VR using Gravity Sketch. I had 2D reference pictures in the scene, but all the ideation of the forms was done in 3D.
This is a non-traditional medium (skipping 2D) so I did a bunch of tweaking with post process effects to give it a more grainy textured paper/punchy colors/rendered look … minus the dabs of white gouache for highlights!
