The Kabba (Arabic: ٱلْـكَـعْـبَـة The Cube) is a building at the center of Islam’s most important mosque: the Al-Masjid Al-Ḥarām. This is the most sacred site in Islam. Personal concept study of a rear-engine vehicle with a Coupe body and 2+2 seats.
I’ve revisited this concept that I made back in 2009 using 3DsMax. My main focus was to optimize the mesh using the old model and recreate a new one in TopoGun. The entire model was created without any type of refference just sketches, and it has a fully detailed interior. I also took care to keep the entire model at the correct scale.

Yes, this was a hell of a scan… it look me 10-15 minutes to walk the entire street. Shootout to @polycam app (@cpheinrich), that handled the capture from the beginning to the end of this 560 ft long scan (170 m.)!

Clarion Alley is a small street in SF between Mission and Valencia Streets, notable for its world renowned murals. To me it’s the Street Arts Mecca, and it tell so much about the history of SF past decades, its mystical bohemian tradition, the challenges faced by its communities, and much more.

Juma Mosque is situated in the center of the village of Kala Koreysh in Dagestan, Russia, next to the family cemetery of the Utsmis, feudal rulers of Kaitag. The mosque’s prayer hall is divided by rows of pillars into three naves. And the first aisle from the entrance is elevated in comparison with the other two by 50 centimeters - the relief slope is used. The prayer hall is slightly extended from west to east. Its dimensions are 12,2 by 10,2 meters, the thickness of the walls is about 50 centimeters. In the center of the hall there is a prayer niche - mihrab - that shows to the praying person the direction to the south, to Mecca.
The mosque is laid out of big and carefully processed blocks. The material is local stone - shell rock. The masonry is dry and the stones are very precisely fitted. The technique of stone processing is high. A fully procedural Islamic dome. Both the model and texture are procedurally done in geometry nodes and materials in Blender 3D. The dome design is based on the main mosque of Yazd. Yazd is a historic city in the center of Iran, and a world UNESCO site. The city is iconic for its adobe houses and endless towers.
The tower itself has a Timurian (Tamerlane) architecture. The dome part contains a set of repeating geometrical patterns, followed by two sections of caligraphy. The upper part is knotted Kufic calligraphy, it says Mecca ( مکه), the holy city of Islam. The second row is square Kufic calligraphy, reading Allah and another word I cant read.
