This little garden was created primarily for practice; I wanted to create a new environment but keep the scope relatively small. A garden is perfect because in some ways it resembles a little world, with its own creatures, foliage and landscape. My texturing/material skills are not a strength yet so I was keen on exploring what detail I could achieve with using very simple painted textures. The whole project was mainly created using Blender, with a little bit of Photoshop for painting and post processing. The HDRI environment texture used was sourced from https://hdrihaven.com/ “nagoya_wall_path”. At first I was planning to just produce a render from one angle, but later decided it would be nice to show off in Sketchfab. I then baked all textures for import into Sketchfab, it was a busy scene so I had to make some sacrifices in texture quality. I have made it as accurate as possible, and I’ve used several references online to get the different parts right (since I don’t have any access to a grand piano, sadly enough). I wanted to make a white grand piano since I think they’re very extra and cool, and I thought that a red inside would look dramatic, so I made it red inside. The roses I made just because. To stay with the roses-theme I decided to decorate the piano and the chair with a rose pattern, so I drew a quick alpha base for a rose pattern I could use and used it when I textured it. I’m a fan of cars from NFS, NFS2, NFS3: hot pursuit. I like to create accurate replicas of the cars from these games. And i styled this McLaren F1 according to the NFS2 version. For work, i used a mid-poly model, for the possibility of easy use for games, but replaced all the small details of the exterior with HD details in order to achieve quality and good appearance. I created an exact (ND 4 SPD) license plate, some textures and quality wheels. Just as in all my cars, i always create the correct reflecting geometry of mirrors, and the wheels will never hang in the void (like many 3D models and cars from games), because i really love the cars vhich i make.
