The aim was overall dimensional accuracy (like shape and size) and not fanciness (little details, textures, or any other uzi’s additions) of the weapon. Aaaand it’s just a .blend file where the railgun spins, that’s why the preview is kinda clunky. Just put this file in blender and do whatever you want with this model… change materials, texture it, export it, improve it, put it in games etc… it’s all up to you for now. Another 1 and a half week project of a medieval heavy crossbow. Inspired after a portfolio critique and been wanting to create a medieval/fantasy inspired piece for some time now. Modelling done in Maya with certain detailed parts such as the wood carvings and stock ornaments done with the help of Zbrush and photoshop. Textured with substance painter and rendering done on Unreal engine 5. This might be my last project in a while since I have an actual full time job that I have to attend to, however I will be back with more projects in the future and will keep on improving my skills as required.
