This diorama is created by myself using Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter. The animations were also created by me using key framing in Maya. I had so much fun modelling and animating this, I learnt so much throughout this project! Trying out different things, this turned out to be quite okay!… Displacement is fine enough, had to generate another (lighter) normalmap though. A crystal-powered floating castle. There be demons inside. Pink demons. I was aiming for a Warcraft look (as in Frozen Throne, not necessarily WoW) with limited resolution hand painted textures. Glow FX were originally done as billboard planes, flickering was achieved by randomly rescaling them; the little bat and moving candle flames were animated by shifting UV - as these techniques are currently unavailable on Sketchfab I edited them out and left a static model with no billboard tracking. As a countermeasure, to make it look better when rotated, I added a tiny tad of postprocessed bloom. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 2694 polygons.
