Here are small assets of vintage books and wood bookshelves for my personal project. Given that the main character of the scene is not the typical little girl I thought it would be interesting to give her a wide variety of books that fit her personality. For the bookshelves I made two different finishes for the wood material. I am leaning more to the painted wood since it should give good contrast against the wall and also fits with the beach decor. Let me know which you prefer. I made this version of Luigi Lucarelli’s character Ana Kaona (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rReJZ5) for my final project at CIFO Hospitalet. It was an interesting journey, I learned a lot about Maya, Zbrush, Rizom (first time using it) and Substance Painter. I made the retopology in Maya but for posing and rendering I came back to 3D Max because I have more control on it and can make it faster there. Only one month to finish the whole process, it was so hard to do that!! But at the same time I enjoyed it so much, because I got to learn a lot. That’s why I’m so proud of the final results! My recreation of the Glock 19. I made it last summer 2023 while learning to use Plasticity for the first time. There are a lot of changes from the original design because when I started the project, I didn’t have in mind to model the gun exactly the same, it was more of a learning exercise. But in the end I wanted to finish it and texturize the result to see how this new software would adapt to my workflow, giving this as a result. On the other hand, I tried to keep the geometry with a quad-based topology, it’s always a challenge to generate a mesh with perfect loops. But at the end of the project I used tris to close parts. VRCPrefabs is a VRChat development community focused mainly on creating + helping others create interactive experiences within social VR. The original Prefabs logo itself was designed by BlueASIS, Tero and CyanLaser. For this project, we had a narrow turnaround of 12 days to go from concept to final. VRChat needed to support first-generation Oculus Quest hardware (mobile hardware) in their New Years environment so we were given a very tight perf budget of 2,500 polys, a single material, and a 1024x1024 max res limit for any textures. Since YuGiOh MasterDuel was released I instantly fell back in love with the cardgame I grew up with 😍 At first it was hard to catch up with the fastpaced playstyle nowadays, but its still a blast - no better way to pay Tribute than recreating the bossmonster of the deck I’m currently using ✌ The modelling was a very good practice for situations, where the references aren’t necesserily angled perfectly.
