This character was very difficult to translate into 3D! Her pear-shaped face and the side mouth were truly challenging, especially the retopology 😳, but as always, I enjoyed doing it so much!!❤️

I made this version of Luigi Lucarelli’s character Ana Kaona (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rReJZ5) for my final project at CIFO Hospitalet.
It was an interesting journey, I learned a lot about Maya, Zbrush, Rizom (first time using it) and Substance Painter.
I made the retopology in Maya but for posing and rendering I came back to 3D Max because I have more control on it and can make it faster there.
Only one month to finish the whole process, it was so hard to do that!! But at the same time I enjoyed it so much, because I got to learn a lot.
That’s why I’m so proud of the final results!
