This is one of my first car models I built for a free independant racing game that allowed user generated content (racer.nl). It had a wonderful community that i do miss quite a bit. This was created before normal maps, high poly counts, and Substance Painter, but at least we had Photoshop… The Renault Alpine A110 is one of my favorite vintage automobiles of all time. I have only seen this car once in the flesh, and hope to again some day, it’s so beautiful to me. I have debated rebuilding this model as a high poly asset many times so I dug it out to see how it holds up in Sketchfab all these years later. See what you think and maybe download it for fun. Model for the upcoming game eastern european racing game “Szrot” Wishlist on STEAM: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1890780/Szrot/ The first car in a new artstyle that I’ve been concepting. It’s an homage to late 90’s PS1 games, like Gran Turismo. I used some of the same techniques used by artist back then such as opacity wheels, floating textures etc. although the not necessarily to make a 100% authentic PS1 era model. The VAZ-2101, commonly nicknamed “Kopeyka” (for the smallest coin, 1/100 of the Ruble), is a car introduced by the Soviet manufacturer AvtoVAZ in 1970, it was the company’s first product. The VAZ-2101 was sold under the brand “Zhiguli” in the Soviet Union, and branded as “Lada” for export. The name “Lada” was derived from a name of a “small boat (“ladya”) in Slavic language, symbolized by the logo badge. The model is based on the Italian Fiat 124. Independence Monument is a victory column located on Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) in Kyiv and is commemorated to the Independence of Ukraine.[1] Stylistically it presents a mix of Ukrainian Baroque and Empire style. The monument was built in a compositional center of the square to the 10th Anniversary of the independence of Ukraine in 2001. The monument itself is a column with a figurine of a woman (Berehynia) with guelder-rose branch in her arms. The height of the monument is 61 m (200 ft).[2] As a model of the Berehynia statue, the author Anatoliy Kushch chose his daughter, American artist Christina Katrakis. The statue is made of a cast bronze and weighs about 20 tons. The column is faced with white Italian marble that stands on a pedestal in the form of a Christian temple of Ukrainian Baroque.
