This old Jet Engine, Klimov RD-45 is situated in the courtyard of Universitatea Politehnica Timisoara, and I taught it would be a good project for my Masters Dissertation & Research paper. Took me around 50 hours in total from taking the pictures (600 of them), 3D model processing (6 models with different quality level and multi editing) and writing over 60 pages of ”How it’s made” plus a research paper with short but on point 3d reconstruction. Hi! this is my entry for the Make a Splash in Amsterdam I reimagined 2.64 Tears of Steel splash screen into an animated world, i love the Bioshock aesthetic and thought that actually TOS it’s pretty cyber/steam punkish and the concept will fit pretty well.
