Hand painted scene I did for my Game Graphics final exam in Digital Arts and Entertainment.
For the concept I based myself on the abandon military and scientific bases of Deception Island (Antartica), including the old whale oil refinery factories.
While searching for some reference, I fell in love with the colors and mood that some of the pictures depicted from these places . They are completly abandoned and destroyed, but their surroundings seemed so quiet, pure and constant in time that made these houses feel like the only reserves of life in the place, even though they were forgotten long time ago.
Textured in Photoshop and modelled in 3ds MAX.

Another character of my Oxymoron Project
This is a personal project I named Oxymoron Project. It consists of three main character which are contradictory. The project started when I heard by the very first time the meaning of oxymoron, a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction. The first concept was only on my head 8 years ago,and now they are in 3D. The first oxymoron example was cold fire and that’s how I imagined a cute flame character with cold. Then I include more characters like this one.
