I modeled and textured the Pikmin based on images on the internet only, but for Alph I had to use the original model of the game as reference. No parts of the original model or textures were used on my own model, but without the 3D reference for topology and textures, in the lack of a “blueprint”, I wouldn’t be able to make it look as identical. Everything was modeled in Blender and textured in Photoshop, the Normal and AO maps were all baked in Blender, as well.
