Recently, I reread my favorite manga Blame!, and started reading Berserk. I felt inspired to play around with procedural shader generation in a manga style. Initially, I modeled this corridor to test the shader, but gradually, it became more detailed. I decided to share my progress. The entire scene is handled by just two procedural shaders - one for the tree and one for everything else. However, for Sketchfab, I had to optimize the scene and bake the texture.

The Daruma, also known as a Dharma doll, is a hollow, round, Japanese traditional doll modeled after Bodhidharma, the founder of the Zen sect of Buddhism. These dolls, though typically red and depicting a bearded man (Dharma), vary greatly in color and design depending on region and artist. Though considered an omocha, meaning toy, by some, Daruma has a design that is rich in symbolism and is regarded more as a talisman of good luck to the Japanese.
