Hi to everybody again. In this guitar challenge I present this gibson paint. It makes me nostalgic, the musical instruments, there was a time in my life where I did a lot of music. To project mu passion I have done a stylized hell style painting. The work of uvs was additional, for this use blender and manually cut each piece, then rectification of angular and area distortions. For the puzzle use uvpackmaster, separating in 3 materials with 70% coverage of the islands on the texture set, and an optimal texture resolution for real time, prepared for a 4k and two 2k map. I created this warmaul for DAE’s Weaponcraft asssignment. A relic weapon designed for “The Scarlet Crusade”, a fanatical religious sect on a grand quest to rid Azeroth of the Undead Scourge up in former Lordaeron. It never had the possibility to shine its brightest light due all the corruption from within. The Scarlet Crusade always interested me in the time I played WoW, but never did I invest in their lore as much. Doing a deep dive I discovered about this lad Saidan Dathoran who was their “Grand Crusader” before being corrupted by this dreadlord. In this assignment we were asked to creat a WOW inspired weapon. I found this assignment quite challenging at first, I wasn’t familiar with weapons and so coming up with a creative design that fit the brief took me longer than expected. However, in the end, I am pretty happy with my outcome. I chose a coral/deep sea theme for my weapon and thanks to this I was able to play around with lots of fun colors and the presentation. My submission for the second GameArt assignment at DAE Howest. A lot of struggle in the design phase led to a lot of difficulties and mistakes. I didn’t think this would lead to anything good, but i stuck with the few things i had thought out and it came out pretty okay in my opinion.
