This is the last project I’ve made using Cinema 4D. Now, I’m more into Blender, but since I had started the project on this soft, I preferred finishing it that way.

Another commssion. A greek shield with it’s spear rest modified into a guillotine, making it a lethal weapon.
The commissioner speficically ask for viking runes on the shield, indicating this equipment has been smithed and used throughout the edges. The runes spelled “Demonbane.” revealing its original purpose. I’ve tried to incorporate more geometry in my recent line of productions to preserve its original shape, hopefully it’s pleasing to the eye for you.

The project was developed by the Leningrad State Design Institute №5 in the early 80s under the direction of B.E. Sandler for LNPO Krasnaya Zarya. In view of the presence of weak soils at the construction site, the type of foundation was of particular importance. The core of the building is the shafts of six elevators, and the structure itself is a reinforced concrete frame with external panels. A personal project I started in September that got pushed back due to university work. After finishing the game I knew I had to make something for my portfolio to show praise as I am one of the few people with the controversial opinion that the game is a masterpiece, ultimately becoming my favourite game I’ve ever played. I’m a huge fan of Joel and Ellie and I was very invested in the continuation of their story.
I chose to model the guitar that Joel gives to Ellie as I felt that it was a physical embodiment of their relationship which is my favorite thing about the games. It’s also different to a lot of my other portfolio pieces as I tend to model weapons.
I found this piece quite challenging as the sunburst pattern on the body of the guitar took some time to get right as I had not done too much hand painted texturing within Substance Painter but I am very happy with the results.
