November 26th 2022 - updated the finished model in .FBX format with rigging and 3 different textures. Includes red, blue and flame paintjobs! This sleek one-man fighter was shown in the first episode of the third series, then sat in the cargo bay spockblocking at EVERY POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY. The fanboys weren't stupid, it was obvious this gorgeous girl was going to make a comeback to blast the chin horns off some baddies one day… Model is in .FBX format with UV mapping and rigging, you an see the bones in the “Model Inspector" screen. I have made this to match the CGI version with a complete smooth cockpit and extra details around the side blasters. The feet aren't quite symmetrical, there is a small rectangular detail on the left side but not on the right. I have deliberately made the landing gear flaps on the chin different from the TV show because the on-screen version doesn't close air tight. Introducing Ryoko Shimada, the Red Dragon of Talon!
This was a project I’ve been working on for the past few months with Isabel Garcia, otherwise known as Osidinum.
We brainstormed back and forth for a few months and she came up with an awesome design for me to translate into 3D!
Exiled by the Shimada clan as a child, Ryoko lead a life of violence. Talon recognized her combat potential during the omnic crisis and manipulated her into becoming a soldier. She seeks revenge on her former clan as well as her brothers, who are unaware she is even alive.Armed with her dual chakrams, Ryoko uses these weapons to slice into enemies at short and close range, as well as to harness the power of her dragons.
