Hi! this is my entry for the Make a Splash in Amsterdam
I reimagined 2.64 Tears of Steel splash screen into an animated world, i love the Bioshock aesthetic and thought that actually TOS it’s pretty cyber/steam punkish and the concept will fit pretty well.
I enter the contest a little bit late so i didn’t have that much time for polish but i’m pretty excited about the out come. In this 3 days i went from, concept art to publishing here on Sketchfab!
I learned a lot doing this project and in the middle I kept a 3 day journal of this piece on my blender artists profile where i show you step by step the process of blocking, modeling, texturing, lighting and finshing in a short and sweet form full of gifs that show the process of each.

Intentionally posed directly after Joanna Kobierska’s splash screen, as the challenge is to recreate one in Blender and post it on Sketchfab! I did have to optimize it for this diorama, partly by toning down the sheer amount of feathers my render has.
