Pecheneg-SP, GRAU index is “6P69", is an improved variant of the PKP Pecheneg. It has two main versions; a standard version and a special forces version. Titanium is now used for its construction. It was also reported that it now features a Picatinny rail for mounting the 1P89-3 unified optical sight and other optical sights, a telescopic folding stock and at the request of the Russian military, an additional tactical handle for convenience when firing. According to the manufacturers, during transportation the gun can be folded, making it 30 mm (3 cm) shorter than the regular Kalashnikov rifle. In the game, players assume the role of a pilot for the X1-Alpha, a robot designed to fight in the “Crime War” in Los Angeles in the year 2098. The X1-Alpha is a police vehicle that can transform between a fast, hovering pursuit vehicle, and a slower, full-fledged combat mecha.
This is recreation of the in game robot with HD textures for a modern age. The creaton of this model was an excersise in texture creation and animation (although I could have picked something easier to animate for my first time animating). The model was created in sketchup for the most part before moving it into blender for the finishing touches, texturing and animation. The textures where created from scratch using photoshop.
