“La Manola" is the colloquial name for a sculptural fountain made of cast iron, approximately 3.20 meters high, located in the central area of the Parterre gardens, in the vicinity of the church of Santa María in the town of Daimiel (Ciudad Real, Spain). This composition was manufactured in the Mac Naughtan Bros foundry in the city of Glasgow based in Valencia, being installed in Daimiel in 1891. The figure represents an upright young woman with her head slightly tilted to the right side of her. She is half-naked, dressed only by a cloth that partially covers her body. She presents her hair gathered and ornamented with a flowery crown. On her right shoulder he carries a cornucopia, while in her left hand he holds a bouquet of various flowers. The sculpture sits on a wide open-profile cup, decorated on its external face by bearded male masks. The Castle of Mesones de Isuela, which is located at the top of a rocky village above the town of Mesones de Isuela (Aranda)-Spain, is one of the largest castles in Aragon. It belonged to the Templars and the house of Luna. The first reference to the castle is the donation of Sancha de Abiego to the Templars in 1175. The Order of the Temple kept it until the end of its existence.
In the fourteenth century it was of the Fernández de Luna. The Archbishop of Zaragoza Lope Fernández de Luna had the building built that can be seen today and gave it in his will along with the towns of Tierga, Jarque de Moncayo, Sestrica, Nigüella and Lucena de Jalón to his sister Toda. When Archbishop Lope Ferrández de Luna died in 1382 the castle was almost abandoned. It passed into the hands of the Ximénez de Urrea upon Toda’s death.

An aproximated model of the Cloister of the Kings , also known as Cloister of Processions, in Salamanca, Spain. I visited the city on my latest holidays and I was impressed with its arquitecture. After returning home, I felt the need to model some of the places I was in, and this is the first model.

First time doing architectural modeling with Blender, but I’m quite satisfied with the result. Fully done with Blender, from texturing to modeling, in the lapse of two days.
