This is a character I've made for the Monomyth project, based on Randy Bishop's concept. The character is loosely based on Prometheus in Greek mythology. The official description on the project says: “Prometheus is a Titan who has recently been freed from centuries of imprisonment. He has a grudge against the gods that he means to see paid. This manuscript is composed of four papyrus sheets, each with four pages of text (two on each side). The four sheets were put one on top of the other, folded and then stitched together. There are remains of sewing thread on some sheets.
The subject of the book is prognostications to be derived from involuntary movement (quivering or twitching) of various parts of the body. That such movements portended certain events was a popular belief which finds expression in both Greek and Latin classical literature. The various members of the body are taken one after the other, starting from the head downwards, and the omens associated with their movement are concisely enumerated. Greek Trireme
A Trireme is an ancient warship used by Phoenicians, ancient Greeks and Romans. The trireme has three rows of oars and a bronze ram used to damage other ships in naval battles. This model is mainly based on the Olympias, a reconstruction made in the 80’s.
This kind of boat was seen in video games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and numerous peplum movies.
Note : If the general aspect of the boat is faithful to reality, the accuracy of the architecture of the boat (ropes, some beams etc.) is not guaranteed at 100%.
