I modeled this Rolling Gate to be use in any exterior scene, game, render composition. This 3D scan shows the main entrance to the Neoclassical Stadsfeestzaal, which was originally inaugurated as a banquet and exhibition hall in the early 20th century. If anything the building’s interior is even more glamorous than its exterior, and my grandmother has fond memories of the formal balls that used to take place here.
Since 1983 the building is classified as a protected monument. After a devastating fire in 2000 the building was beautifully renovated and is now used as a shopping center.

This work is based on a Sketchup-file. Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of its author. Anyway, thanks for the great model! Several years ago I converted and repaired it into a watertight STL-file. Sadly the resolution of the model is only useful for printing in small scales.
My purpose is to provide watertight STL-files for you, which can easily be modified for 3D-printing, according to your references. Therefore, most of my models are not repaired into one single shell. This may be a bit more difficult for the preparation of the build, but helps you a lot, if you want to personalize the model. E.g. if you want to seperate parts, such as wheels or to remove delicate details like wipers etc.
Before printing, please check out if you have to modify the model, depending on the favored size of your print and the requirements of your printer. I hope you enjoy it. Happy printing!
