This is one of three props I created for the Artstation Challenge ‘Feudal Japan: the Shogunate' (15oct - 3dec 2018). Concept by Enrico Camerra. Traditional Japanese-style Utility Pole.
This highly detailed real-scale model is composed by a main pole acompanied by its classics bolt steps and manhole steps spread along it, plus cross-arms, mounting bands and supports. Model portrays a standard pole distribution with Supply Space and Comunications Space. First one is composed by detailed transformers with connectors, cover buckles & bolts, mounting supports and secondary terminals; there are also rows of large and medium porcelain insulators & fuses with its ironworks as supports, bolts and nuts. The Comms Space is composed by Cable TV (CATV) and Telephone (TELCO) Cabling, integrated by the expansion loops, steel supporting strands and cabling junctions as well as coaxial cables and TELCO Splice Cases. Finally the pole attatchs a typical public lighting lamp. The entire cabling is designed in order to ease the modular addition of duplicate poles in order to build the needed network for your project.
